Barcelona, Spain — N3XT Sports has announced a new strategic partnership with SportsTech Belgium, an ecosystem where sports and technology meet to boost Belgian Sports Tech. With this strategic partnership, N3XT Sports has become the innovation partner of the SportsTech Belgium Accelerator Program.
Earlier this year, the Royal Belgium Football Association, Agoria, and Wallifornia launched the SportsTech Belgium Accelerator Program with the aim of supporting the most promising international startups to accelerate their knowledge of the sports and esports world as well as share with them critical insights relevant to the venture capital world.
Startups working on the following categories can apply until October 31st:
- ACTIVITY & PERFORMANCES (Wearables, Equipment & Infrastructure, Tracking & Analytics, Classes & Tutorials, Booking & Discovery, Recovery & Injury Prevention, Coaching & Recruitment)
- FANS & CONTENT (Audience, User Experience, Immersive Technologies, sports betting, Creation, Production, Broadcasting, Streaming, Curation, …)
- MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATIONS (Monetization, Optimization, Monitoring, Consulting, Audience, Licences & Rights, sports betting, ticketing )
- SMART VENUES (Stadium, arenas, theaters, festivals + safety, security, CSR, …)
10 startups will be selected to be part of the program. The entrepreneurial teams will be individually coached by experienced entrepreneurs and sports & esports industry experts.
The program will kick off with a series of workshops focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and finance. These workshops will cover topics including sales, negotiations, investors relations, growth hacking, digital strategy, communications and storytelling.
Due to the current pandemic situation, the acceleration program will be organized 100% online.
