Sochi, Russia & Barcelona, Spain — The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) and N3XT Sports announce a new collaboration under which N3XT Sports will deliver a digital transformation & innovation in sports course as part of the RIOU’S Master of Sport Administration program, to give the students a sustained competitive advantage in the future of the sports landscape.

The digital & innovation experts at N3XT Sports will deliver a one-week course on the ground in Sochi in the spring of 2022. The course will cover topics such as digital transformation, digital business strategy and innovation strategy with the aim of giving MSA participants a 360º view understanding of digital transformation, an introduction on how to optimize processes and the exploration of new revenue streams mainly through digital channels.
As the sports industry undergoes a disruptive process that is challenging business models and processes alike, digital transformation & innovation are proving to be the new strategic enablers for leaders & administrators in the sports industry. As the landscape changes continuously, there is a need to rapidly upskill & educate sports industry professionals on new concepts emerging in digital & innovation. The goal of this course is to address this need and for the MSA participants to acquire practical and market-ready skills and knowledge. This course will provide students with real-life and in-depth knowledge of how to leverage the latest technologies used in sport, using detailed case studies from the sports industry.

The RIOU MSA (Master of Sports Administration) is a one-year full-time program of further professional development in sports management, endorsed by the International Olympic Committee and located in Sochi, Russia.
